| | I'm crazy.
I care too much about my body. People tell me to shut up because I'm tiny. I do know I am pretty small, but I am definitely getting chubby. I feel it and my clothes are getting a bit tight.
I know I'm not "fat," but I feel it. Although my eating and exercise hasn't changed, I've gained 10 15 pounds. My periods are very very light and lasts a day. With my vision, I am able to see clear enough to know if I have my period, but I can't tell anymore because it's so light. I asked my mom once... She said there was blood, but barely any. I think I skipped this month.
I have a small gut, so I think I'm gaining weight because I'm pregnant. That'd explain my periods as well. Funny thing is, I decided to stop having sex when I got on the pill. I slipped and went against my decision in July, so I'm still blaming pregnancy. My tummy must be a baby forming inside of me? I work out every day. I go to the gym and take a pilates, an intense cardio class, and do strength trainging with my personal trainer 2 or 3 days a week. When I'm at home, I try to walk on the treadmill or use my elliptical. I haven't felt sick and none of the workouts have been hard, so I can't be...
I don't understand why the weight won't come off though. I was 112 pounds around early March and am 126 pounds today. It doesn't sound like a lot at all, but I'm 5'1. I have a figure and could never (or would never want to be) as thin as a stick. It has been months, but with my daily exercise, I don't understand how I keep gaining weight. 15 pounds is pretty drastic. Some days I'm not hungry at all, so I skip meals. Other days when I am hungry, I intentionally skip a meal or eat something small. I know that's horrible, but I can't help it. Skipping meals/eating less doesn't make me lose weight which confuses me more.
I know a common side effect of birth control is weight gain. I was on birth control years ago before my accident, but it didn't affect my weight at all. I was pretty active though. These days, I have a serious sedentary lifestyle. Maybe the BC is affecting my period. I googled this and found that it does make periods lighter/shorter, but it's not like I'm even getting it.
Excuse me.
I'm entering the Halloween contest this year! My sister took some pictures that I'll post this week. When she was taking them, "suck in your gut." She laughed and said that because of the material, it'd make anyone's stomach look bigger. Since I can't see the pictures myself, my lovely pair of xanga eyes chose 3 for me. She tells me there's nothing to worry about, but of course she would. I'm afraid to post them on here. Hey, make me feel better and vote for me! I'm still cute with a tummy? and the prize is candy. Perfect. |
